হযরত ফাতেমা (রা.)-এর জীবনীBiography of Fatimah (RA)

ফাতেমা (রা.) ছিলেন নবী মুহাম্মদ (সা.) ও খাদিজা (রা.)-এর কন্যা। মক্কার এক স্নেহভরা ঘরে তাঁর ছোটবেলা কেটেছে। ছোটবেলা থেকেই তিনি পরিবারের সুখ-দুঃখ খুব কাছ থেকে দেখেছেন—বাবার সততা, মায়ের স্থিরতা আর ঘরের ভালোবাসা তাঁর মনে গভীর ছাপ রেখেছিল।

Fatimah (RA) was the daughter of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and Khadija (RA). She spent her childhood in a loving home in Makkah. From an early age she saw her family’s joys and sorrows up close—her father’s honesty, her mother’s steadiness and the warmth of their home left a deep mark on her heart.

নবুওতের পর মক্কার দিনগুলো তাঁর পরিবারের জন্য খুব কঠিন হয়ে ওঠে। একদিন নবীজি (সা.) কাবার পাশে নামাজ পড়ছিলেন। তিনি যখন সিজদায়, তখন কয়েকজন বিরোধী লোক তাঁকে কষ্ট দিতে তাঁর পিঠে নোংরা জিনিস চাপিয়ে দেয়। খবর পেয়ে ছোট্ট ফাতেমা (রা.) দৌড়ে এলেন এবং নিজের হাতে তা সরিয়ে দিলেন। এমন অভিজ্ঞতা তাঁকে সাহসী, ধৈর্যশীল ও সংবেদনশীল করে তোলে।

After the Prophet’s mission began, life in Makkah became very hard for her family. One day the Prophet was praying beside the Kaaba. While he was in prostration, some of his opponents placed filthy things on his back to hurt and shame him. Hearing of it, young Fatimah came running and removed it with her own hands. Experiences like this made her brave, patient and caring.

ফাতেমা (রা.)-এর হাঁটার ভঙ্গি ছিল ঠিক তাঁর বাবার মতো। তিনি যখন নবীজি (সা.)-এর কাছে আসতেন, নবীজি (সা.) উঠে দাঁড়িয়ে তাঁকে স্বাগত জানাতেন, আদর করতেন এবং নিজের জায়গায় বসাতেন। নবীজি (সা.) বলেছেন, “ফাতেমা আমার অংশ।”

Fatimah walked just like her father. Whenever she came to the Prophet, he would stand up to welcome her, show her affection and seat her in his own place. The Prophet said, “Fatimah is a part of me.”

মদিনায় তিনি আলী (রা.)-কে বিয়ে করেন। তাঁদের ঘর আলো করে আসে হাসান (রা.) ও হুসাইন (রা.)-সহ সন্তানেরা। সংসার ছিল খুব সরল। ঘরের অনেক কাজ ফাতেমা (রা.) নিজের হাতেই করতেন—ঘড়ঘড় শব্দে হাতের জাঁতা ঘুরিয়ে আটা পিষতেন, পানি আনতেন। কাজ করতে করতে তাঁর হাতে কড়া পড়ে গিয়েছিল।

In Madinah she married Ali (RA). Their home was brightened by children, among them Hasan (RA) and Husayn (RA). Their life was very simple. Fatimah did much of the housework with her own hands—grinding flour on a hand mill, round and round with a rumbling sound, and fetching water. The work left her hands rough and sore.

একদিন তিনি বাবার কাছে একজন সাহায্যকারী চাইতে গেলেন। রাতে নবীজি (সা.) মেয়ে-জামাইয়ের ঘরে এসে তাঁদের এর চেয়েও ভালো কিছু শিখিয়ে দিলেন—ঘুমানোর আগে ৩৩ বার ‘সুবহানাল্লাহ’, ৩৩ বার ‘আলহামদুলিল্লাহ’ আর ৩৪ বার ‘আল্লাহু আকবার’ পড়া। তিনি জানালেন, এটি তাঁদের জন্য একজন সাহায্যকারীর চেয়েও উত্তম।

One day she went to ask her father for a helper. That night the Prophet came to the couple’s home and taught them something better: before sleeping, to say ‘SubhanAllah’ thirty-three times, ‘Alhamdulillah’ thirty-three times and ‘Allahu Akbar’ thirty-four times. He told them this was better for them than a helper.

জীবনে স্বাচ্ছন্দ্য সবসময় বেশি ছিল না। তবু পরিবারের প্রতি ভালোবাসা, দায়িত্ব আর মর্যাদা ধরে রাখার শিক্ষা তাঁর জীবনের সঙ্গে জড়িয়ে আছে। মুসলিম ঐতিহ্যে ফাতেমা (রা.) নবী পরিবারের প্রিয় সদস্য হিসেবে বিশেষ সম্মান পেয়েছেন। নবীজি (সা.) তাঁকে জান্নাতের নারীদের নেত্রী হওয়ার সুসংবাদ দিয়েছেন। তিনি আমাদের মনে করিয়ে দেন, বড় পরিচয়ের চেয়ে ভালো চরিত্র ও ঘরের ছোট ছোট দায়িত্বও খুব মূল্যবান।

Life was not always comfortable. Yet love for family, responsibility and dignity remained at the heart of her life. In Muslim tradition, Fatimah is honoured as a beloved member of the Prophet’s household, and the Prophet gave her the glad news that she would be the leader of the women of Paradise. Her story reminds us that good character and the small duties of daily life are precious, even more than a famous name.

ফাতেমা (রা.)-এর জীবন আমাদের শেখায়—পরিবারকে ভালোবাসা মানে একে অন্যের কাজে সাহায্য করা, কষ্টের সময়ে ধৈর্য ধরা এবং মানুষের সঙ্গে সম্মানের আচরণ করা।

Fatimah’s life teaches us that loving our family means helping one another with our work, staying patient in hard times and treating people with respect.
